General goals

 determining the lexical-syntactic patterns that express semantic relations for Portuguese, focusing at a first stage in major POS;
 designing and implementing procedures for the automatic extraction of lexical-conceptual and semantic relations from various resources;
 devising work practices for evaluating and validating the results achieved automatically, foreseeing the automatic integration of the data in the WordNet.PT database.
