General goals

• Research on Computational Linguistics/Translation Engineering, namely:
  • Machine Translation and Controlled Languages;
  • Linguistic Specifications for Machine Translation Systems;
  • Lexical encoding in Computational Lexical Networks and computer-aided Translation.

Besides the scientific and technological goals of this project, it is mostly concerned with advanced training, given that research is carried out in the context of several master's dissertations.
