General goals

 creating a Controlled Portuguese for Machine Translation and for Portuguese teaching/learning (as a second language, as a non-elementary foreign language, and as mother language);
 designing and implementing a computational tool for automatic verification of texts in real time, detecting problematic vocabulary and structures in terms of processing, while simultaneously presenting alternative solutions to the user;
 obtaining the following tangible results:
         a Controlled Portuguese, named CLG-Controlled Portuguese;
         a computational application for filling in gaps in the user's linguistic knowledge, named WordNet PortControl checker.
