Do digital games offer long-term benefits for learning foreign languages in adulthood? How can integrating educational psychology, neuroscience, and psycholinguistics aid in designing effective pedagogical interventions for foreign language acquisition?

Games are a powerful tool for learning. How can we use games to learn difficult language sounds faster and in a more enjoyable way? This project brings together a broad range of investigations exploring the neurocognitive effects of learning through games, the socio-emotional dimensions of gameplay, and the pedagogical strategies that emerge from these insights.
